Temperament of the Doberman PInscher breed

Doberman’s temperament is very famous aside from its fierce and strong appearance. They are considered to be working dogs because most are aggressive, highly intelligent and great in training. Dobermans are fearless but are often misunderstood and branded as dangerous. Generally, this breed is well-mannered. The breed is watchful and always aware. They enjoy looking out on windows and inspect new sounds and follow new smell. Having a Doberman in the house will give you peace of mind and feeling of safety. No one can slip up on you with them around. The dog is brave but sometimes stubborn. They are obedient and can easily follow commands regardless of fear or pain they are undergoing. It is embarrassing not to train a Doberman because handlers are putting their intelligence into waste. At a young age, they could be nasty and stubborn but with right and consistent training, Doberman could be the perfect watch dog and working dog that you’d ever have.

Contrary to what many people know about the breed, Dobermans love to be touched and caressed. They love affection from their owners and can sit on the couch for hours cuddling with their masters. They are very loving and loyal dogs. Their devotion to their owners are remarkable.
