Poodle photos

A Poodle dog has a medium, long-legged, balanced and elegant appearance. They stand out proud because of their fluffy coat that is usually cut and designed/groomed in many different ways.

There are three types of Poodles; Standard, Miniature, and Toy.

Poodles have these standard coat shade/colors:
1. Phantom Poodles - black-and/or-tan
2. Solid-colored Poodles - may either stay on the same color throughout their lives or fade/clear to a lighter shade

This breed has a double long coat. The outer coat has wiry curls while the undercoat is thick and woolly.

The standard height and weight of a male Poodle are divided into three types:

• Standard – over 15"; 45-70 lbs.
• Miniature – 10-15"; 15-17 lbs.
• Toy – 10" and under; 6-9 lbs

Labrador photos

The Labrador dog is a solid, muscular dog and is slightly longer than taller. The Labrador has a broad head and fake nose in the eyes are chestnut or hazel and the ears are medium pendant sized ears. Their tail estates near the body and tapers near the end. This breed is very good in swimming because of their webbed feet.

Labradors have these standard coat shade/colors:
1. Solid black
2. Yellow
3. Chocolate

It should be noted that the silver Labrador is not considered part of the breed standard and is a genetic mutation as per AKC. There is also suspicion that these dogs were crossed with the Weimeraner.

The standard height and weight of a male Labrador are between 22 to 25 inches and 60 to 80 pounds respectively. While female Labs are between 21 to 24 inches and between 55 to 70 pounds.

Rottweiler photos

The Rottweiler dog is powerful, robust and is of a medium large built. This dog displays great strength, agility and endurance because of his compact and substantial body built. He has a broad head with a rounded forehead and a well-developed muzzle. The ears are triangular and are carried forward.

Rottweilers have only one standard coat shade/color. The Rottweiler is mostly black but has rust or mahogony colored markings on his cheeks, muzzle, paws, and legs. Their coat is hard, glossy, short and quite thick. While the outer coat is straight, coarse, dense, of medium length and it lies flat against the body. Their coat shed average.

The standard height and weight of a male Rottweiler dog are between 24 to 27 inches and approximately 100 pounds respectively. While female Rottis are between 22 to 25 inches and approximately 88 pounds.

Chihuahua photos

The Chihuahua breed is known for its small body with slightly oval head, large, and sharp ears. A Chihuahua's snout is usually slightly pointed and short. They have lean jaws and cheeks and blue, mole, pink or chocolate colored noses. Chihuahuas have slightly arched necks, well-rounded ribs and a tail that is either up or curled in a loop with the tip of it slightly touching the back.

Chihuahuas have two types of coat:
1. One of which is soft, glossy and smooth, and covers the whole body except the head and ears.
2. The other type is long with an undercoat. This type of coat could be either curly or flat.

The standard height and weight of a male Chihuahua dog are between 14 to 16 inches and 20-30 Pounds respectively. While female Chis are between 13 to 15 inches and between 18-30 Pounds.

Adam and Eve said, 'Lord, when we were in the garden, you walked with us
every day. Now we do not see you anymore. We are lonesome here, and it is
difficult for us to remember how much you love us.'

And God said, I will create a companion for you that will be with you and
who will be a reflection of my love for you, so that you will love me
even when you cannot see me.

Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be, this new
companion will accept you as you are and will love you as I do, in spite of
yourselves.'

And God created a new animal to be a companion for Adam and Eve. And it
was a good animal and God was pleased.

And the new animal was pleased to be with Adam and Eve and he wagged his
tail.

And Adam said, 'Lord, I have already named all the animals in the Kingdom
and I cannot think of a name for this new animal.'

And God said, 'I have created this new animal to be a reflection of my
love for you, his name will be a reflection of my own name, and you will call him
DOG.'

And Dog lived with Adam and Eve and was a companion to them and loved
them. And they were comforted.

And God was pleased.

And Dog was content and wagged his tail.

After a while, it came to pass that an angel came to the Lord and said,
'Lord, Adam and Eve have become filled with pride. They strut and preen like
peacocks and they believe they are worthy of adoration. Dog has indeed
taught them that they are loved, but perhaps too well.'

And God said, I will create for them a companion who will be with them
and who will see them as they are. The companion will remind them of their
limitations, so they will know that they are not always worthy of adoration.'

And God created CAT to be a companion to Adam and Eve.

And Cat would not obey them. And when Adam and Eve gazed into Cat's eyes, they were reminded that they were not the supreme beings.

And Adam and Eve learned humility.

And they were greatly improved.

And God was pleased..

And Dog was happy.

And Cat . . .

How to make a homemade dog food

Sometimes, homemade dog food is undeniably better and safe than dog food. But before switching to homemade dog food, check with your vet first and understand that 40 percent meat, 30 percent vegetables and 30 percent starch is needed for a dog diet. The basic ingredients for a homemade dog food are meat, vegetables and starches.

A Shih Tzu is a small dog with a large deep dark eyes and a short muzzle. It has a long and soft coat. The ears are dropped and covered with long fur.

The long and silky coat that can reach the floor requires daily grooming and brushing to avoid tangles. Sometimes, the coat is clipped to simplify grooming and care.

The standard height of a Shih Tzu is no more than 10 1/2 inches and weight is between 10 to 16 lbs.
